'I started doing hand embroidery during the pandemic for a way to calm my anxiety. Depending on the size of the embroidery hoop, a piece could take around 3-4 months and in a result to that hand embroidery has taught me a lot about patience and I take that on in my daily life. I can get lost in it and feel calm whenever I'm feeling stressed or anxious. For someone who was scared to use vibrant colours, I've fallen in love with them as it represents how I feel when I'm creating and I want people to feel the same joy and excitement that shows through my work.'
